I am currently a member in good standing of the Massacusetts Council on Family Mediation and the New England Chapter of the Association for Conflict Resolution.

Professional Development
I believe it is important to continue to keep abreast of current divorce law.

For example, I recently attended the Family Mediation Institute sponsored by the Massachusetts Council on Family Mediation. There I gained valuable insight into divorce issues frequently facing mediators today. I was also invited to be a guest panelist at the Southern New England School of Law for a seminar titled Alternative Careers in the Legal Profession. This is a seminar for both law students and legal professionals.

I also recently attended the 2009 Child Support Guidelines Training Seminar sponsored by Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education (MCLE).

Service to Others
I have performed volunteer legal work for Legal Services of Cape Cod and the Islands in Plymouth, Massachusetts as part of their Battered Women’s Legal Assistance Project.
